Let’s get down to it.
1. Garden gnomes are small and can move quickly on their plump legs, they may not appear to be a dangerous opponent but you still don’t want to underestimate them. A garden gnome will often times fight until unconscious or dead; unless it is not defending itself it will almost never surrender.
2. Garden gnomes will often times be found with at least one other garden gnome. If you find yourself facing more then one Garden Gnome, try to escape as quickly as possible, it is better for your mental health and safety not to stick around.
3. The paint on a garden gnome is not just colored mud or dye, it is actually made from the blood of conquered foes (or “victims” if you are in the gnome’s good favor) mixed with urine. The paint can be poison to many races, not just humans, dwarves and elves; even orcs may find themselves ill after contact with the painted garden gnome.
4. Garden gnomes often times will carry weapons that they have stolen from previous victims. They may be armed with anything from a sharpened toothbrush to a battle axe or even a cannon. These weapons can and will cause serious damage if in the hands of an angry garden gnome.
5. Garden gnomes are never alone in the darkness. They breed like rabbits and often work together to take down a larger enemy or party of adventurers.
6. Garden gnomes don’t always kill their victims, they often times will take them as slaves or torture them for days before finally putting them out of their misery.
7. If you see a garden gnome after dark, do not attempt to follow it; it is more than likely just leading you into an ambush with the rest of its tribe.
